come back to my home

hello!everyone.

I came back to Japan and my home.
Yesterday, when I came home, my father and oleder sister met me.
My mother has been in my grandmother's home. It locates in Toyama prefecture.

The two weeks that I stayed in Maryland are very fun and include
many important experiences.
It is as if a dream.
I really appreciate Nina, Kevin, Ji Won, Laura, Tim, Linda and all the people I met in America.

I learned about importance of effort to achive my dream from mentors.

I liked the phrase "my pleasure".
Ji Won often said this phrase.
I learned the meaning of "my pleasure", "you're welcome" and"No problem".
I like the view of "my pleasure".
When you do anything for someone, someone will say "Thank you".
And you say "my pleasure" because I want to do that for you.
The way of thinking is new one for me.
I think it's great!

Ride a Pony!

Monday 14

Today, we went to County Fair. There are many animals and booths. It was very busy. I haven’t seen cattle for a long time. Children look very happy to take part in pig race! I remember my childhood. Children like festival all over the world. I’m very fun fair too! I rode on a pony!! But other riders are children…. America has vast lands and many farms. So, the fair is popular, I think. I love festival and booths but food is very junky. It is same as Japanese festival.

Weekend 11, 12, 13

This weekend, I saw beggars. I’ve never seen beggars. In Japan, I often see the homeless near the big stations but they don’t ask me some money. They don’t seem to try to concern with society. Therefore, I ‘m shocked to see the sight. A man who is sitting at the corner of the George Town asked some money. They have cups. And, I saw beggars in the metro. Tim gave some money. Tim told us about beggars. They spend money for drags and alcohol.

I haven’t finish today’s blog!! I’m sorry.

Thursday 10

Today, we learned about campus life in Maryland.
Many students live in dormitories.
The dormitories are on campus.
It's very good! If there are domitories in Aoyama Gakuin University, I needn't take a long way to my university. I want to share the room with friends, especially people from other countries.
Most Japanese university have not domitories, I think.
I think Japanese university have dormitories.
Why not have?
Is there no space?

Cultures

Wednesday 9

Today, we went to neighborhood.
Yokohama has Chinese town too but Chinese town in America is different in size.
And we went to Latino and African town.
Each town remains their culture.
America is called culture of salada bowl.
I think so.It is curious because Japan has almost one culture.
I don't know which is better.

Tuesday 8

Today, we talked about our families.
I surprised that Nina has so many families.
I have not met most of my families.
Kevin 's childhood is so cute!
Ji Won's sister is very very beautiful!
Laura 's friend? is similar to Laura I thougt.
Tim's grandparents are very nice!
And I have lot of fun to talk about families.
There are many different things between Japan and other countries.

Then, we went to Pentagon City Mall.
I was so exciting for shopping.
5 clothes and 9 neckleses I bought.
I love the shopping mall!!!
I wish I could go to 21 again.

Thank you very much Laura!

Monday 7

Today, I came to Washington D, C again.
There are National Geographic Museum and The Washington Post.
NGM is so fantastic! I love miniatures.
I think the world has much diversity.
And at the store, I discovered a silver pouch.
The shape is elephant.

Completely same thing is in my room!

It is souvenir of Ai Chikyu Haku 2005 in Aichi Japan.
My parents gave it to me.
I have cherished it.

Of all the places to meet you!

The Washington Post is very interesting but I can’t understand English so much.
It was regrettable.
Return to my home, I fight my English skill!

Hello!! My name is YuikoY
August 2
I woke up at 4:30 and left my home early morning.
I rode on airplane to America long hours.
I was tired...But when I met Nina, Kevin, Laura, Ji won and Tim, I was very happy! And thought
"I'm coming!!!"

we went to University of Meryland.
It was very very vast!
There are many suculptures of turtles throughout the university.

I ate Tacos for dinner.
It's delicious but too hot for me.

It was a nice day.
